Sony Pictures Networks’ (SPN) digital entertainment platform SonyLIV, has assigned its creative mandate to Publicis Worldwide. The account was won following a multi-agency pitch. The brand will be handled by the agency’s Mumbai office.
Sony LIV is the first premium video-on-demand (VOD) service by Sony Pictures Networks’ (SPN) providing multi-screen engagement to users across platforms. Launched in January 2013, SonyLIV enables users to discover 21 years of rich archival and original content from the network channels of SPN. It also provides viewers with a wide array of movies apart from strong line-up of events across sports and music. Apart from being a pioneer in the OTT space, it has surpassed 24 million app downloads so far and is still counting.

August 23, 2016—- New York—- Today, Publicis Worldwide announced that it has been appointed as lead marketing agency for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE). Publicis Groupe agencies DigitasLBi and Optimedia were also named to the brand’s roster and together will serve as the brand’s strategic marketing partners. Razorfish will continue leading HPE’s website efforts.

Publicis Romania has been named Agency of the Year after dominating the 2016 Golden Drum Festival by picking up the Golden Rose top award with a total of 17 nominations and 13 trophies: 2 Grand Prix, 5 Golden Drums and 6 Silver Drums.

Established in 2004, the Golden Drum Advertising Festival of New Europe is one of advertising’s biggest and most important events, a juncture between creativity and different cultures comprising 37 countries, from Austria in the West Europe to Russia in the North, and from Israel in the South to Turkey.
This edition, the competition included 26 different countries. The Gala Awards was held on Friday night, in Ljubjana, Slovenia.
This year alone, Publicis Romania and Nurun also received 43 trophies and 22 shortlists at the biggest international and national festivals, such as: Cannes Lions, D&AD, New York Festivals, Effie Awards, Art Directors Club of Europe (ADC*E), AD Stars, Fibra Awards.
President of Publicis Brazil, Hugo Rodrigues, was elected one of the five most prominent Advertising Executives of the country for the second time in a row, according to the Agency Scope survey. The survey was conducted by the prestigious Spanish consulting firm Scopen (which was previously named Grupo Consultores) and taken by the higher management of 405 clients, including marketing VPs, directors and managers. Rodrigues is listed among such names as Nizan Guanaes, Marcello Serpa and Washington Olivetto. The Agency Scope is conducted every two years.

After competing against the entire Brazilian advertising industry, Publicis Brasil has been elected Agency of The Year at Caboré 2016, the most prestigious award of the communications industry in the country. The win was revealed on Monday 5th December during a party in São Paulo that joined together the most important leaders in advertising. This is the first time the agency has received the highly coveted “Owl” of the industry, after being nominated along with Talent Marcel and AlmapBBDO. The win is a recognition of the huge success Publicis has experienced in the last two years, which includes winning accounts such as Heineken, Carrefour and Senac SP, as well as several digital business wins of major brands. It is also due to the work the agency produces for clients such as Chevrolet, Nestlé, P&G, Centauro, Sanofi, Discovery, Habib´s, SBT, CVC, Medley, Centauro, Yakult and Arno. Two years ago, Hugo Rodrigues, president of Publicis Brasil, also won Creative Professional of the Year at Caboré.
